For Art Monte-Carlo 2019, the gallery presented Mirror effects, a project aiming to establish a visual dialogue between paintings, reflecting into one other. From different periods of time, they create surprising perceptible metaphors between the artists. This back and forth approach highlights striking iconographical resemblances and illustrates transversal styles through the ages. It includes works by Kees Van Dongen, Alexandra Exter, Alexej von Jawlensky, Petr Konchalovsky, Philip Maliavin, Edvard Munch, Achille Emile Othon Friesz, Jung Hai Yun and Youn Myeung-Ro.
